About Eatlas

Eatlas is a daily game about what the world eats and drinks. Every day it asks one question: which country has the most of today's food per person?

It takes a couple of minutes, it is free, and it works in any browser without an account. You guess countries on a globe that heats up as you get closer, and when you find the top country the whole world fills in so you can see the pattern.

Why food and maps

Food says a lot about a place: its climate, its trade, its history and its habits. Most people have strong hunches about who drinks the most coffee or eats the most potatoes, and the real answers are often surprising. Eatlas turns those hunches into a quick daily guessing game where you learn a little geography every day.

Fair answers

Every number comes from a named, published source, mainly the UN's FAO and the World Health Organization. We leave out countries and foods where the data would make an unfair answer. See the foods and sources.

Who makes it

Eatlas is made by Faven Games, a small independent studio that makes daily puzzles and indie games. Our other daily games are Tilt, where you balance a scale by guessing how many of one thing weigh as much as another, and It Took, which asks how many balloons it takes to lift a cat.

How it stays free

Eatlas may show a small number of ads, kept away from the game itself. There are no accounts and we do not collect personal data to run the game. See our privacy policy.
